One of our customers wanted to create a new focal point for their living room. They required a larger stove for the size and location of the room. We decided to fit a Chesney’s Salisbury 8 Multi Fuel stove. As there was no existing chimney present in the room we fitted a new factory made twin wall flue system. This ran through the wall and up the outside of the property.
To be in keeping with the house we opted to build a false chimney breast to house the log burner. This was a clockwork construction with a rustic rural blend brick interior. The customer specified a very rustic riven slate hearth & slim oak mantlepiece.
The Chesney’s Salisbury 8 gave the room a perfect central point. The final product blended in perfectly and gave them an efficient way of heating the room with a renewable fuel.
